I am a Swiss entrepreneur and IoT cynic.
My first job was at the Opera Zurich helping the rigging lighting technicians. I then worked as an installer and integrator of entertainment gear and completed projects in homes, planes, and yachts. Out of these projects, we established a distribution company of integration equipment. I always dreamed of finding an affordable integration solution, that's why I then founded nomos system, an IoT ecosystem providing compatibility of 36’000 protocols. We delivered clients like Hager, Gefen, Philips, Airbus, Brabus, and ABB with software solutions.
After exiting from nomos system, I can use my experience to coach companies in the process of digitalization. As my teenage passion has always been light design and MA was this mega beacon of light control, I started dedicating time to learning grandMA3. I am now using MA for fix installations and trying (naturally the hard way) to couple the MA world with building automation ecosystems such as Apple HomeKit, Lutron, Control4, and Crestron.
