Color and Geometry Transform Space

This installation explores a simple but powerful concept: perception is shaped not by form alone, but by light. The physical structure consists of a series of tilted cubes, arranged in a dynamic sequence that suggests motion - almost as if the elements were captured mid-transition. Despite their static positioning, the composition creates a strong sense of rhythm and spatial depth.

The defining element of the installation is the lighting. Using programmable LED systems controlled via grandMA3, the entire atmosphere can be transformed in real time without any physical changes to the structure. In one state, cool tones - deep blue, violet, and subtle magenta - create a calm, immersive environment. The surrounding darkness isolates the cubes, emphasizing their floating appearance and producing a quiet, almost meditative effect.

In contrast, a transition to warm colors - red, orange, yellow, and green - completely redefines the installation. The same geometry suddenly appears energetic and expressive. The cubes feel more dynamic, almost animated, even though nothing has physically moved.

This contrast highlights a fundamental principle of lighting design: light defines emotion more than structure.

By combining minimal geometry with advanced lighting control through grandMA3, the installation demonstrates how static objects can be transformed into a living visual experience. It serves as a clear example of how modern lighting systems can be used not just for illumination, but as a primary tool for storytelling, atmosphere, and spatial transformation.
